Futuremark - PCMark 7 Release

Today, Futuremark confirmed that PCMark 7, a new benchmark offer new complete testing for Windows 7, and this software will be released on May 3, 2011. PCMark 7 will be fit in 3 editions: Basic Edition, it’s free and can be downloaded from the official website and keep unlimited runs of the main PCmark test, and the second is Advanced Edition which include all 7 PC test and the last one in Professional Edition which unlocks all features and it’s the only one edition that licensed for commercial use. Special for Advanced and Professional edition can be pre-ordered from here.

New PCMark 7 provide a set of 7 PC test for measuring different aspects of PC performance with a super accuracy. Overall system performance measured by the PCMark test. But, special for entry-level and Lightweight test measures can’t be run at the full PCMark test. And the last one is for Storage test is ideal for testing SSDs and external hard drives in addition to the system drive.
